Floatainer Fire Boats are based around the Floatainer Model FCB. The various components necessary for effective firefighting (pumps, high-volume fixed nozzles etc)  are housed in discrete, removable modules. This craft is specifically designed to carry a light firefighting vehicle (plus 10 personnel) which can be landed using the standard bow ramp. This capability makes the craft especially useful in situations where fire risk occurs near rivers, inland lakes and harbours which have shallow draft beaches and poor land access. The fully equipped craft draws just 300mm with a gross displacement of 12 ton providing vehicle access in any situation.
