Floatainer Modular Bridge Systems
The modules that make up the Floatainer folding barges can be attached in
various configurations to provide both floating and unsupported span bridges.
Along with a specifically designed bridge building boat the system provides an
exceptionally versatile package for rapid erection for military or civil
emergency applications. |

Bridging modules consist of 12m central bases, bow ramps and side
tanks. The inherent strength of the bases along with the side tanks which act as
beams result in extremely strong and light bridge sections all of which can be
packaged into the standard shipping container configuration. |

Floatainer bridge boats have the added capability of acting as ferries for
heavy vehicles or being docked end-to end providing continuous long decks which
can be utilised for extra length cargo or floating bridges in their own right.
